Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of daily activities under the guidance of the Lead Teacher.
  • Coordinate daily activities.
  • Supervise parent assistants during the absence of the Family Service Coordinator.
  • Involve mothers in activities
  • Maintain relationship with mothers in order to communicate children’s needs and behaviors.
  • Participate in weekly children’s services staff meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED certificate and 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, or the human services field; Or,
  • High School diploma or GED certificate and two years experience related to the care and development of children.
  • Knowledge of cultural differences among children who are served by the program.

Salary:

  • Commensurate with education and experience
