Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Greet all participants in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Working in collaboration with Program Manager, develop topics and activities for recovery support groups
  • Maintain records of group attendance and debrief with Program Manager, or other identified staff after each group session
  • Escort participants to intake appointments at community-based behavioral health treatment providers as needed
  • Participate in program planning and staff meetings as required
  • Assist New Pathways Participants orientation to the program
  • Documentation of client service provision into the Client Registry System or other identified reporting/tracking system
  • Assist with other related duties as required
  • Participate in supervision meetings with Program Manager on a bi-weekly basis

Skills:

  • Ability to maintain confidential information in accordance with PHMC policies and procedures
  • Ability to interact professionally with program staff, participants and collaborating agencies and organizations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow through on assigned tasks within a timely manner as specified by Program Manager

Experience:

  • Minimum of one years related experience
  • Experience working with individuals who have behavioral health and or social services needs preferred
  • Education:
  • High School or GED
  • Within first year of position will complete PRO-ACT Certified Recovery Specialist Training

Education Requirement:    High School or GED

Salary: 

  • Grade 13
