Job Description


  • Obtain client (adults) authorization numbers from funders (CBH, BHSI) via review of Concurrent Review forms that are completed by the therapists.
  • Conduct referral and inquiry phone calls and record all contact within 24 hours of call. Schedule interview with prospective clients within 72 hours of contact. Conduct weekly visits to prison to meet with criminal justice related clients to determine appropriateness for treatment as well as to inform them of the program prior to their admission.
  • Notify referral sources when beds are available. Perform Addiction Severity Index (ASI) on all new clients.
  • Close out charts for all clients discharged from treatment within 7 days of discharge and conduct follow-up telephone calls to discharge client at 7 days, 30 days and 6 months.


  • Ability and skills necessary to communicate and to maintain relationship with service providers and funding sources in the community.
  • Familiarities with community agencies, in particular, detox ad treatment programs that can refer women for treatment.


  • Knowledge and understanding of the duties responsibilities und the Child Protective Series Law.
  • Attend staff and case review clinical team meetings as required. Prepare Monthly DHS Children’s Census Report. Work closely with CODAAP and TAG to assure client funding. Enter all client data into Client Registry and information is updated.

Education Requirement:

  • Master’s degree in human services, social work, psychology or related field and at least 1 year experience in the drug and alcohol field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology or related field ant at least 3 years’ experience in the drug and alcohol field, preferable in the area of assessments.
