Job Description

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

  • This position is classified as salaried non-exempt in accordance to FLSA standards.

To assist the Home Health Assessment Program Director and Assistant Director, be responsible for performing a wide variety of clerical tasks and assist case management with tasks as assigned. Assignments are both administrative and technical in nature.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Home Health Assessment Program Director and Assistant Director with administrative tasks.
  • Act as back up for Scheduling.
  • Act as back up for Referral Processing.
  • Request and upload client medical records.
  • Provide coverage of PHMC reception desk as needed.
  • Maintain proficiency in the Client Registry System (CRS) to retrieve information as needed.
  • Perform special projects at Home Health Assessment Director’s discretion.
  • Responsible for updating the Home Health Assessment Program employee directory and emailing to agency partners.
  • Will support Home Health Assessment Director with compiling data for compliance related activities and mandated funder reporting requirements.
  • Will support Home Health Assessment Director with total quality management and quality assurance activities, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
  • Must be computer literate, with experience using Microsoft Office software, specifically Microsoft Excel. Must be able to map data and create pie charts/bar charts.
  • Must be a professional and have excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Must have good organizational, oral and communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and be able to perform repetitive motions.
  • Prior experience with billing or other fiscal related activities required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years clerical experience necessary.
  • Must have data entry experience.
  • Background in human services or health care a plus 

Education:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree a plus
