Job Description

The Public Health Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating one to two public health projects for NNCC. These projects are funded by various funding sources, including federal and state grants and private corporations. The coordinator is responsible for the day to day activities of the program and supporting Senior Program Manager on all reporting responsibilities. Projects may include a HRSA-funded National Training and Technical Assistance Partner grant to provide training and technical assistance to health centers and other safety net providers. Position is located in Philadelphia. Position reports to the Senior Program Manager.


  • Coordinate one to two public health projects using project management software (such as Smartsheet)
  • Support Senior Program Manager with development, coordination, execution, tracking and reporting of project deliverables.
  • Track and submit documentation for CME/CNE accreditation of training and technical assistance learning opportunities.
  • Develop, execute and track service provider contracts to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Process service provider invoices as needed.
  • Establish and purchase supplies as needed.
  • Supervise one or more interns as needed.
  • Ensure program quality.

  • At least two years of experience in public health, project coordination, or related area required. A Masters degree in public health, public administration or a related field may be substituted for at least one year of experience.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelors degree required. Masters degree preferred.
