Job Description

The Joseph J. Peter’s Institute, a nationally recognized provider serving children, adolescents and adult survivor of trauma as well as perpetrators of sexual abuse, seeks a case manager in the Safety and Responsibility Program. Support outpatient activity, facilitates scheduling intake appointments, completes chart audits and collects, evaluates and disseminates performance data. This position reports to the Clinical Administrative Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with stakeholders regarding referral details and collecting important participant information.
  • Evaluate and determine payer information for incoming evaluations.
  • Scheduling evaluation/intake appointments with participant or appropriate guardian.
  • Complete intake packets with all incoming participants.
  • Under general supervision, coordinates case management activity in Safety and Responsibility Program.
  • Assist supervisor in providing administrative support to clinical staff.
  • Facilitate tracking of all participants being admitted/maintained in SRP.
  • Assist in developing and implementing new, innovative program strategies.
  • Collect, evaluate and disseminate performance data relative to specified quality improvement programs within outpatient clinic.
  • Conducts quality review audits as appropriate to the agency.
  • Generates various reports regarding performance against quality indicators, as appropriate to the individual position.
  • Participates in the planning, development, coordination and presentation of specific training and educational programs as appropriate to the quality assurance needs of the agency.
  • Assist other facility departments as needed.

Skills:

  • Ability to meet timelines
  • Ability to communicate in writing and orally
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and SPSS preferred.

Experience:

  • Experience with human services systems
  • Knowledge of resources available to staff and clients that enhance, coordinate, and complement the services provided at JJPI.
  • Two to three years of experience in the field.

Education Requirement:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to clinical work.

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

  • This position is classified as salaried non-exempt in accordance to FLSA standards.
