Job Description

The Accounting Systems and Integrations Manager is responsible for the maintenance and development of PHMC’s accounting systems. This position will assist Senior Enterprise Controllers in the preparation and coordination of a formal budget and forecasting program. The position will work closely with senior staff to implement a responsible accounting reporting system. This position has review over sight of all transactions from payables, receivables, and the general ledger that accumulate to the summarized financial statements. The position is responsible for the integration of all third-party software interfacing with the accounting systems. This position will also prepare reports for internal and external users utilizing Jet Reports. The Accounting Systems and Integrations Manager is responsible for the training of Finance staff on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Jet Reports as well as troubleshooting these systems. This position works in conjunction with the information technology department and will report directly to the Senior Enterprise Controller.


  • Implement and maintain an accurate and responsible accounting reporting system.
  • Responsible for planning and coordinating Microsoft Dynamics NAV support with PHMC’s IT Department and third party software vendors.
  • Prepare reports for both internal and external users using Jet Reports and assist others with the development of Jet Reports.
  • Assist in implementing internal audit procedures by developing reports and monitoring accounting transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of a formal budget and forecasting program.
  • Review and examine entries posted to general ledger and journals for accuracy and compliance with accounting procedures and policies. Verify extent of compliance with established policies and regulations.
  • Train Finance staff to efficiently use Microsoft Dynamics NAV including producing periodic newsletters.
  • Develop Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Jet Reports training curriculum and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to review and provide training source documents.
  • Facilitate training sessions for periodic updates, improving user skills, and on-boarding new hires.
  • Coordinate planning and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Jet Reports upgrades.
  • Participate in Microsoft Dynamics NAV discovery and planning meetings, user acceptance testing, unit testing and go-live cut over determinations.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for any updates or modifications of Microsoft Dynamics NAV or third party software interfacing with Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Jet Reports.
  • Proficiency with electronic data reporting and retrieval, electronic mail, and web-based applications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and to organize and prioritize work.


  • Must possess technical and professional accounting skills, ability to develop financial and other operational systems. Must have excellent knowledge of PC and related accounting applications. Strong written and verbal skills are required to present oral and written reports to Senior Staff, and Program staff. Must possess analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to work and communicate effectively with other staff.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) and a minimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
